I am a developer and ops engineer with nearly 30 years of experience in everything from systems administration to service architecture, backend development, and orchestrated infrastructure.

Roles I’ve held in the last decade include VP of Architecture at Community, Director of Cloud and Platform Services at Invision, Principal Systems Engineer at Nitro, and Lead Systems Engineer at New Relic, among others.

Member of Technical Staff at Mozi, where I’m deeply hands-on in an evented, Go backend. I live in Dublin, Ireland and I’m co-author, with Sean Kane, of Docker: Up and Running from O’Reilly Media.
